Neil Mark Harvey, Principal Broker, InEugene Real Estate
My association with Eugene is a decade long and I cannot now imagine living anywhere else. My reasons are those that I hear so often from others who live here – the amazing sense of community, having nature (whether that be beach, mountain or forest) seemingly on my doorstep, the walkability of the city and the perfect pace of life. I grew up in Wiltshire in rural England, not far from Bath and Stonehenge, and spent many days as a teenager on construction sites with my father who was a contractor. I have had a fascination with the construction of homes, and with domestic architecture, ever since
Friendly Street Market is an independently owned grocery store and neighborhood gathering spot in the heart of south Eugene's Friendly Street neighborhood. We specialize in natural, organic, local, and specialty food and beverages. Our store makes a big effort to reduce waste by offering refillable containers, bulk bins, discount produce shelf, a repository for used cooking oil, and more. We love the work Toolbox Project does for our community, including waste reduction. They are a wonderful resource, and we are lucky to have them in our backyard.
